22R oil change

A buddy of mine has a '85 pickup and he was told that he needed to adjust his valves at every oil change. Sounds a little iffy to me but if someone could let me know fact or fiction that would be fantastic.

naw. shouldn't. Recommended is like every 12k-15K miles though. if he wants to take the time to do it, no harm no foul.
